DONT QUOTE ME ON THIS but what if this game reaches 10 mill? This could be NaughtyDogs 1st title to break Diamond status(10 mill). After letting go of Crash Bandicoot which was a franchise that was pretty much breaking 7.5 mill a pop, they eventually refound that same success again in the Uncharted franchise which WILL reach Crash Bandicoots level of fame( also breaking 7.5 mill). Who cares if it's under Uncharted 3? Uncharted is a well known franchise whereas the Last of Us is a brand new IP and it's also a new IP that is coming out at the end of the generation. Not only this but it had a day one digital version on the PS Store, which I personally bought because stores around me were sold out of physical copies. Also the game came out in June, a time where video games don't usually do that well. This game had everything going against it but Naughty Dog made an incredible game and people recognized that. 3M+ in just under 2 months for a game of this genre and a new IP is absolutely incredible. I'm sure any publisher/developer would kill to have this type of an achievement this late in the generation for one of their games. Message | Report |

I think this will, in the end, be the biggest selling game ND has ever released and for good reason. I'm having fun by simply just walking through the environments and exploring the details. I play video games my whole life & I never experience something like this, this game revolutionize story telling imo there is nothing like it, & those visuals.. I cant get out of my mind those beautiful landscapes of a post-apocalyptic US towns, the only minus I can find is some small glitches I encounter 2-3 times but that's nothing compare to the amazing experience I have playing this MASTERPIECE 10+/10 is my score & more than deserve it ND did much more than what I was expecting these guys never stop to amaze me seriously.. I have the survival edition but I was looking around all over Ontario, Canada for another copy so I could play online with my bro (yeah, we got 2 ps3's) and to my shock they told me this title is pretty much all sold out at the moment. PS3 exclusive, and already over a million sales. Amazing, glad this game's doing well. Realistic gameplay, beautiful graphics, fairly interesting and the story, not ashamed to admit, the story made me cry. Not my usual type of game, but a great one none the less, 9/10. Message | Report |

Seriously the best game I have ever played. Playing again on survivor and it is just as amazing. Well deserved sales. With the week ending the 22nd in we could be looking at roughly 1.7mil to 1.9 mil for it's first 7-8 days on the market. That's if everywhere else has a similar 48% drop like UK. Message | Report |

I finished today, 29 hours playing, in Normal. Started NEW GAME+ and will probably take 15 hours now, because I intend to rush. Next, I will play on hard and then on survivor =D BEST GAME I EVER PLAYED Message | Report |

@ Ultr Fair enough. I try to avoid burning through a new game as soon as I get it, so I usually use hard mode the first time. Saying that, I've put more hours into the game (still on hard) and I have found it to be a quite enjoyable, great game. I still think that the control and menu layout is a little fidgety in a fight. Slow changing between handguns in a fight because one is stored in a backpack is not realistic. I also found that you can upgrade later in the game to shoot and load the gun(s) faster. So I would recommend that people play this game the first time on normal difficulty (as you said), and that Naughty Dog should start the game with the player not being made deliberately slow on the draw. Let them start with a faster draw. Its a clunky perk to have to achieve. Anyways, great game. Buy it! Message | Report |

@quadraticadder Never play a game on Hard on your first playthrough. I made the same mistake lots of times. Play on Normal, and then see if a second playthrough is justified. Uncharted 2 played on normal - ended up playing it about 6 times. on all difficulties I'm playing TLOU on Normal and it's an incredible experience! Message | Report |
