While this is a valid point, but customers get to choose between various bundles as well. So the game is the reason why the bundle is selling better than the other bundles. "cheating" bundles usually happen in the holidays seasons when it is the main discounted bundle for the season with the game thrown in for free. Happened to Uncharted 3 and the more recently AC:Unity on Xbox One. Message | Report |

I am sure that when Microsoft bundles games you are more than willing to talk down the importance of bundles in those circumstances or talk up how many digital sales there must have been. Uncharted 2, available since 2009, 6.3M. Uncharted 3, available since 2011, 6.25M The Last Of Us, available since June 2013, 4.05M. I might be wrong, but I'll say it. The Last Of Us is going to be the best selling Naughty Dog game. It might even reach the 6 Million units next December. Message | Report |

I said this 1 month before launch.... "colafitte (on 16 July 2013) I'm predicting around 4M sold at the end of the year, 1M more in 2014" Considering the last 2 weeks it sold 85k each, it only needs to keep the pace to be absolutely spot on, according to vgchartz numbers of course. I think this game sold another 500k digital copies at least, so 4'5-5 million it's very possible, and for a new IP with just 1 Christmas sales.... amazing!....more to come in 2014 for sure. Its sales this week were due to an awesome Last of Us and GTAV 500GB PS3 bundle £179.99 for a while then £199.99 in the UK. This will get a big boost in the holidays as well probably with a Last of us and GT6 bundle for the same price. Message | Report |
