@-girgosz- Well, the HD port wasn't better than the Wii version. Other than the resolution, the HD port (PS3) had a choppy framerate and compressed audio. Capcom pulled a lazy job with that "remake" of RE4. The Wii version still is the best port of the game. The controls (you got options as how to play it) is something that cannot be beat. There is more of a chance they release RE5 on the 3DS. On the Wii, that ship sailed long ago. Its too late now. And RE4 Wii Edition is a GCN/PS2 port. The best of both worlds. Message | Report |

this is one of my fav games i got for my wii....my top five wii games i own are mario kart wii, legend of zelda twilgitht princess,new super mario brothers wii, super smash bros brawl, and of course resdent evil 4 wii edition .......if anyone does not have this game for the wii i recomend u get it u will not regret it........( i use the wii remote nunchuck controls....... on may 8th capcom releases their fiscal reports, as of december it was actually at 1.5 million shipped, frankly the ps2 version is the one that really needs an adjustment down, it is over tracked by nearly 800,000 units Message | Report |

@ dark NPD does do Canadian tracking, but the numbers are released seperately. When people cite NPD they're almost always excluding Canadian data. As far as I know, Canada and the US are the only regions NPD tracks. Message | Report |

The success of this and UC shows we need more original RE games on Wii. RE4 was already released and did well on GC and PS2, the GC version being playable on the Wii already for cheaper. But this port done right, still sold great, so there's a demand for more RE on Wii (NOT those cheap ports of 0/1 out in Japan) Message | Report |

So I downloaded and played the cracked RE5 japan demo for the 360. All I have to say is the thumb sticks are so slow and unresponsive compared to the wii controls of RE4. I will not be getting RE5 unless it comes to PC since the gamepad controls are seriously bad. I guess I am just spoiled now that I have played with far superior controls ;) Don't get me wrong, I like the gamepad for some games like fighting but can only play shooters with the wiimote or mouse/keyboard anymore. @metalgearmatt Well, Resident Evil 0-3 are almost totally different games from Resident Evil 4. I recommend starting with Resident Evil 1, and if you like that one play 0, 2, and 3. Also get Resident Evil 4 and if you like it then you will probably like Resident Evil 5. Message | Report |
