EB Games Expo: An Introduction - News

You remember Australia? That country that gave you Hugh Jackman? That country that seems to have an issue with 18+ games? Well, now we have something else noteworthy, the countries bigggest (and first) major gaming convention; EB Games Expo, taking place at the Gold Coast Convention Centre, running from October 15th to 16th.
What started out as a trade show restricted to EB Games employees has now become the closest thing Australia will probably ever get to a real, publicly notable gaming event. An event in which gamers will have a chance to wait in an hour long line in the hope of playing one of this or next year's most anticipated titles, including Battlefield 3, Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception, Mass Effect 3 and lots of other games with numbers in them. On top of all this, there will be developer presentations, live music, BMX (for some reason) and cosplay competitions.
So, you're probably wondering at this point, "what the hell does this have to do with me?" You see, VGChartz representation at the convention is going to be limited to one person: me! Unless the event is extended by an extra day, odds are, I probably won't be able to play everything and interview everyone. That's were you come in. We want to know specifically what you guys want me to cover while the event is going on and what questions you'd like us to ask. Want to get the scoop on the new Tin Tin game? Want to know why Infinity Ward think they can stand up to DICE? Or maybe you want to see me humiliate myself at Dance Central 2? Let us know what you want from VGChartz in the comments.
During the coverate, you can expect a slew of content, including daily recaps, interviews (one currently confirmed with Battlefield 3 creative director Lars Gustavsson), hands/eyes on with the hottest new titles and whatever else we can think of while we're there. But that's not all, later this week, we'll be posting details on how one of you will be able to join me at EBX to fight in a Battlefield: Bad Company 2 tournament for the grand prize of an Alienware Laptop!
