Sony Releases 'Only on PS5' Trailer - News

Sony Interactive Entertainment has released a new trailer titled "only on PS5" that features PlayStation 5 exclusive games.
The games showcased includes Marvel's Wolverine, God of War Laufey, Ghost of Yotei, Saros, Gran Turismo 7, and Astro Bot.
PlayStation had been for many years porting its first-party lineup to PC, however, there has been a move away from this for single-player focused games. While live service games are expected to continue to release on PC.

Marvel's Wolverine will launch for the PlayStation 5 on September 15, 2026. God of War Laufey will launch for the PlayStation 5 on February 16, 2027.

Damn, people are obsessed with every lil thing Sony does huh?
My own internal pragmatism is screaming to comment on the top comment as it's trying to make a joke about their digital future... when the ad isn't about discs, so it doesn't even seem like a burn in context. Yet, there is is, most upvoted. Ad will remain the same regardless of format.

And by 2030, their single-player games will start coming to PC again. It might not even take that long.
And none of those will be console seller for PS6. Skippable exclusive lineup. Laufey looks terrible, Saros is terrible, Wolverine looks average, Astro Bot feels like poor man Mario games, Gran Turismo has lots of replacement like Forza, NFS and many other racing games, Yotei is weaker than Tsushima. Good luck selling $1,000 PS6 with this kind of lineup. Sony will likely do rehash labelled as "Remastered" for these games anyway
Ok so GT7 is a lie because it's on PS4. But the premium DLC is PS5 only and the game is great so I'll let it slide. So happy to see Sony still supporting and promoting it years later. My most played PS5 game.
