The Fate of the Gears of War 3 Carmine Brother is in Your Hands - News

As in the previous Gears of War games, the third volume will introduce yet another Carmine brother. This Gears rookie will be named Clayton and for the first time, his fate will be in your hand...for a good cause.
Beginning July 29, two new avatar t-shirts will be available on Xbox Live. One says "Save Carmine" while the other says "Carmine Must Die." While I'm normally firmly in the camp of never paying real money for virtual items, the proceeds of this digital version of "Death in the Family" will go to the Child's Play Charity - the same charity we donated to with the proceeds of our E3 party raffle.
In addition to the Xbox Marketplace items, attendees of Comic-Con International in San Diego this weekend will be able to buy real-life "Save Carmine" and "Carmine Must Die" t-shirts at the Xbox 360 booth.

Is it actually confirmed Clay Carmine (as he was called in Gears2) is another rookie. In Ben's letter it said he was older so I was hoping they might make him a more experienced gear. If he as identical to Ben as Ben was to Anthony they is it pretty much confirmed that theyre quadruplets? (We know theres another Carmine to come)
So if you buy one shirt you get one possible ending and the second a different ending? or will they poll the shirts and then decide if he dies or not?
No doubt there will be an achievement called saving private carmine
