Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War continues the success of the Call of Duty franchise by setting a new record.

The game sold 5.7 million digital units in November only, according to a report from research firm SuperData. The figure is a new record beating out the previous record-holder Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII by seven percent.

The continued popularity of the free-to-play battle royale game, Call of Duty: Warzone, helped drive interest in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. Warzone is expected to continue its success with the main way gamers play Call of Duty on PC or console in the near future.
