Nintendo shows always the way :) 30 million is completely doable!
Wow. 3 months to go and Switch is at 17 million for the year. 29 million or even 30 million seem to be in the cards this year.
In other news, the PS4 has dipped slightly below 50% total marketshare for the PS4, Switch, and X1. Not many would have seen that coming just a couple of years ago.
Thats fine. Its still over 50% when compared to Wii U and Xbox One.
This is based on VGC's lifetime comparison, and they replaced Wii U with the Switch all the way back in early 2017.
I knew Switch will keep that 400k from now on
Another week, another 400k+
The quarter probably ended with 66+ million sold. I can see Q3 and the year itself ending with 75+ mill easily thanks to Super Mario 3D All Stars, Mario Kart Live Home Curcuit, Steve in Smash, the Crown Tundra DLC for Pokémon and most importantly Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity. Supporting titles from third parties, especially Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory and Immortals Fenyx Rising will help.
Without any games of note, the Switch just sold 400K again. It's pretty clear that the only thing between Nintendo and 75 Million consoles sold by the end of this year is stock limitations. And 75 Million after less than 4 years is incredibly impressive. Looks like the Switch will be the most successful home console ever for Nintendo, beating the Wii by probably a huge margin.
.....Did something come out that week? Or is it selling like that just because?
Just because
a restock came out
Nintendo Switch will dominate all of October ;) November and December is what I'm most curious to see
