Respawn Entertainment yesterday released the free-to-play battle royale game, Apex Legends, for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC via Origin.

The CEO of Respawn Entertainment, Vince Zampella, announced the game surpassed one million players in under eight hours.

A life-long and avid gamer, William D'Angelo was first introduced to VGChartz in 2007. The no promotion promotional plan seems to have worked very well here It's a great idea, but can really only happen once in a while, and requires extreme control of information flow. Certainly, it's a very low cost way to market a game.

You can look at it both ways. Positively -EA giving a atudio a bit more autonomy to do it their way. Negativiely - EA save millions from their marketing budget.

What a fun game! I usually don’t even like MP or BR games, but I somehow love this. Art style, map and audio design and gunplay...all f‘in great here.

It's to much of a team game in order for people to play a lone. Your right though very fun game. I usually only like to play BR games for like 30mins to an hour tops. Played this for as long as I could last night and wanted more.
