Walmart has just got a new bundle for the PS3, and it is an awesome deal.

PS3

For $399 you get the 80gig PS3 along with hit sports game MLB 09: The Show and Quantum of Solace. But it doesn't end just yet, along with those 2 offerings you get to choose between one of the following.

Although I'd have to disagree with the IS\ARE correction. IMO Sony is more than a single entity, they have numerous subsideries and what not so would consider them a group...

A groud would need to be an "are" Hmmmm actually I'm not sure lol...

Wow, I find it quite disturbing that you take such offense to this story. I don’t understand where all this irrational hostility is manifesting itself. Perhaps you should seek professional help. Sony has never denied that there is a PS3 slim in production, they have only denied a price cut on their current models. BTW for future reference the correct grammatical structuring of that sentence should be “Sony IS clearing out stock on the ps3, not Sony ARE cleaning out stock on the PS3” I’m not trying to be a needler, but it’s a pet peeve of mine; sorry.

P.S. Im not attempting to star a war of attrition here, I’m just giving you my 2 cents as you did yours. The sarcastic comments are just my way of breaking the ice!!

It's a very good bundle. MLB 09 arguably the best baseball game ever (Microsoft's Aaron Greenberg says so), and toss in a decent movie another decent game from that list (probably something for the kids like Lego Star Wars). Beats buying the regular PS3 for the same price anyday.

This isn't news as ssj12 has said already.

Don't know how you can be so ignorant as to assume this means Sony are clearing out stock for the new PS3 SKU. What the hell has chucking in some crappy budget game in the mix along with a decent one and QOS got todo with clearing out hardware stocks...

It's completely pathetic. Real reason this is posted is just to brown nose Sony even more than vgchartz normally does.

Stranglehold is prob the best choice in there, and NHL 08 is the best sports game in there.

I've been thinking about getting a PS3, so when I saw this I thought, "Hmm, maybe I'll do it!" Then I saw the game list. I refuse to buy such a bundle on principle.
