Acclaimed LucasArts, Telltale, and Double Fine Audio Engineer Jory Prum Dies in Accident - News

Audio engineer and sound designer Jory Prum has died, aged just 41, as a result of serious injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident late last week.

Prum was most well-known in video game circles for his work on dozens of acclaimed titles spanning multiple developers and publishers, including LucasArts' Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Escape from Monkey Island, EA's The Sims 2 and SimCity 4, Telltale's The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us, and Double Fine's Brütal Legend and Broken Age, and most recently Grim Fandango Remastered.

Prum was also accomplished in the film industry, working on such titles as Lost in Translation and Adaptation.

Motorcycle accident... in the wrong hands those are just a death trap, my own father almost lost his life on one.

Sad times though, that sheet of games this guy has been a part of make up some of the more memorable games for their music especially some of the music choices in the Telltale Walking Dead games were just absolutely perfect, That version of "In the Pines" opening Season 2 was just perfect.
