by William D'Angelo , posted on 20 November 2015 / 5,513 ViewsThe Binding of Isaac's Afterbirth DLC is unlikely to ever release on the Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, or PlayStation Vita, according to publisher Nicalis' founder, Tyrone Rodriguez.
in other news, evaluating Afterbirth for Wii U, new 3DS and PS Vita. Not running at a performance level I'm happy with. Outlook NOT good
Stop lying to yourself, the Wii U is not much more powerful than a PS Vita

among other things, consider that Afterbirth has over 100 weapon combinations, Rebirth had much less. Those stacks add up

Are you telling me that a 16bit style indie game has performance issues on the WiiU and is the fault of the console? And WiiU is not more powerfull than PSV? LMFAO what a way to lie to people.
facepalm the Vita and Wii U should easely be able to handle this game. Whats next? this guy might tweet, xbox one version will be 900p and ps4 will be 1080p but both will run at 30fps because the game really pushes the limits of current gen
I'm not sure if I should laugh or cry at the stupidity of this guy. Mighty Number 9 is coming to all of those systems, and even fucking Bloodstained is going to be released on PS Vita and Wii U. If Wii U and PS Vita can run those games, then it's going to easily run a fucking cartoony game like The Binding of Isaac. Those were just indie games, and PS Vita can run games that are graphically close to PS3's, and Wii U can run games like Bayonetta 2 at 1080p60fps. So is this guy just bad at optimizing his games, or what?
Going by how garbage the ports of Rebirth have been technically speaking, yeah, his team is bad at optimization.
Bayonetta 2 actually runs in 720p.
