The Escapists Sells Over 600,000 Units - News

Whilst officially announcing The Escapists: The Walking Dead earlier today, Team17’s Managing Director, Debbie Bestwick, revealed that the game has sold over 600,000 units:
“With well over 600,000 units sold, the award-winning The Escapists is one of the hit indie titles of 2015. Masterminding your escape from prison is hard enough but how can we make it harder? Zombies.”
This is across all three platforms - Windows PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game first launched in August 2014 as a Steam Early Access title before receiving an official release in February of this year. It was most recently ported to the PS4 in June.
