Rhythm Heaven: The Best+ and Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden Top Japanese Charts - News

Rhythm Heaven: The Best+ (3DS) was the top selling game in Japan (week ending June 14), according to Media Create, as reported by Gematsu. The game sold 157,591 units last week.

Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden (3DS) debuted at number two with sales of 74,660. Splatoon (WiiU) is down two spots to number three with sales of 53,198 units. The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky Evolution (PSV) debuted at number four with sales of 20,484 units.

The 3DS was the top selling platform with 25,772 units sold. The Wii U sold 16,413 units. The PlayStation 4 sold 10,822 units, the PlayStation Vita 10,797 units, and the PlayStation 3 2,633 units. The Xbox One sold just 100 units.

Nice to see the Vita up there in game sales... Still has life...

yea 3DS is picking it up a little and Wii U is holding very well. PS4 is actually holding as well, it doesn't seem to want to drop below 10k.

The Wii U and 3DS are doing very well in Japan right now. Hopefully that momentum continues (it's practically guaranteed in regards to the 3DS).
