Dungeon Defenders has Sold a Million Units

Dungeon Defenders, the action / tower defense game, has sold a million units across all platforms. The game is a download only titles, available for Xbox Live, PSN and Steam. The game launched on October 19, 2011 and has kept steady sales on Steam.

"It is tremendously successful franchise," Said Doug Kennedy, Reverb Publishing CEO, in an interview at Joystiq. "We have lots of plans to support it both with DLC and additional add-ons for the franchise."

There is a PlayStation Vita version in the works, but it does not had release date. The developer plans to release three more packs across all the platforms, however there are and will be more pack that will be exclusive to Steam. Such as the "New Heroes Pack, the Barbarian character, Assault Mission Pack, Nightmare Mode and more."

Yeah this game is really fun, I got it in the Steam sales and loved every second of it! Bring on more DLC!

Yet I still can't convince my friends to buy it purely because it looks 'childish'.

I bought this game on holiday sale in Amazon for two bucks. Since it was that cheap then I spent 4 more bucks on steam in addons and plan to spend more in the future since the game is a lot of fun.

ughhh be careful if you get this game, it will eat up lots and lots of hours of your time if you want to get your character really powerful hahaha. I love this game and played the crap out of it, when I SHOULD have been doing other crap (like studying)

My son DL'd it and played it for a bit. But he's put it aside for other games now. I suppose he'll go back to it at some point.
