Super Meat Boy Sells One Million Copies

Team Meat has announced on its Twitter that its game Super Meat Boy has sold more than a combined one million copies as of last month. The game was originally released for the Xbox 360's Xbox Live Arcade on October 20, 2010. It was released for the PC shortly after on November 30, 2010.

Team Meat is an indie developer comprised of two people, Edmund McMillen and Tommy Refenes. Super Meat Boy is described on the official website as a "game where you play as a boy without skin whos girlfriend who is made of bandages gets kidnapped by a fetus in a tuxedo wearing a top hat and a monocle."

Super Meat Boy has received a lot of praise with a Metacritic score of 90 for the Xbox 360 version and 87 for the PC version.

best platformer in a long time. A joystick really does make this game a lot better.

Tried this game on PC, didn't enjoy it. I guess the only games I can enjoy on PC are MMOs.
