Here we see data representing the global sales through to consumers and change in sales performance of the three home consoles over comparable periods for 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011. Also shown is the market share for each of the consoles over the same periods.
"Year to date" sales for 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 sales are shown in series at the top of the table and then just below a comparison of 2011 versus 2009 and 2011 versus 2010 is displayed. This provides an easy-to-view summary of all the data.

PSP is managing decent sales this year despite almost no major titles. Next year sales will crash with the PSV launching this fall in Japan, and early next year worldwide.

A price cut for X360 could still save 2011 and give 14 million units sold.
even with a pricecut 360 will be down yoy we need next gen.
Playstation 3 still has Uncharted 3 which will no doubt be a system seller (Sony even has a bundle package announced), though it looks close to see if they'll be able to top 360 in total sales.
