Namco-Bandai financial results for the June 2011 quarter have arrived. The company earned 88.241b Yen ($1.143b) in revenue for the quarter, with a profit of 3.248b Yen ($42.1m). Both figures were increased from the previous June quarter, in which Namco-Bandai revenue reached 81.912b Yen ($1.06b) and lost, rather than profited, 16.44b Yen ($213m).
Namco-Bandai maintained its March 2012 fiscal year forecast - the company still expects revenues to reach 400b Yen ($5.18b) with profit projected to reach 8.0b Yen ($103.6m).
Namco-Bandai expects to ship 21m games this fiscal year, up from 20.9m in the past year. In the June quarter, Namco-Bandai shipped 3.377m games. Of that total, 657,000 games were for PS3, 651,000 were X360 games, 622,000 were 3DS games, 614,000 were DS games, 595,000 were PSP games, and 199,000 were Wii games.
Game shipments in the previous June quarter reached 3.153m. From the June 2010 quarter to the June 2011 quarter, PS2 game shipments fell from 474,000 to nothing, with Wii dropping from 423,000 to 199,000, PS3 dropping from 696,000 to 657,000, and DS dropping slightly from 636,000 to 622,000. 3DS obviously grew from nothing to 622,000 units over the same time frame, with PSP growing from 343,000 to 595,000, X360 growing from 581,000 to 651,000.
The company cites 3DS games as its major titles for the quarter - One Piece Unlimited Cruise SP shipped 170,000 units, Tales of the Abyss shipped 150,000 units, and Ridge Racer 3D shipped 90,000 units. Super Robot Wars for PSP shipped 70,000 units (450,000 lifetime) and is the only other title listed as a sizable hit for the quarter.

Well at least one publisher is set to support the 3DS further ^^
Yeah they still have plenty of older titles to port ;)
