Yes gears 3 is gaining ground on modern warfare 3 if gears pre orders pick up the last 5 weeks it could give halo a run for its money.

Little typo in the Dark Souls estimate. Currently it states "5,00" when I'm sure "5,000" was intended. Good numbers though, just outside the Top 20 by about 6,000 pre-orders.

What's going on with MW3's pre-orders? I thought they'd cause those of GoW3 to drop significantly, but this is the second week in a row that GoW3 has had more more pre-orders than the PS3 and 360 versions of MW3 combined.

Skyrim ps3 on the board, good to see. Batman seems more evenly distributed.
Still, Skyrim will be huge.

is it bad news that resistance is 7 weeks from launch and not in the top 20 yet?

Michael-5 (on 19 July 2011)

Gears sales fluctuate so much. One week it gets 80k, the next 50k, and then back up to 80k with points in between. I wonder if this game will pick up as well as Halo did in the last 4 weeks before launch.
