Job Ad Confirms Raven Software's Involvement with Call of Duty

A recent job ad posted by Raven Software confirms that the studio is indeed involved in some capacity with the Call of Duty franchise.

The job ad is looking for Designer-Builder. The ad states that “RAVEN SOFTWARE, developer of numerous award-winning games, including contributions to the blockbuster Call of Duty series is seeking passionate designers to join an established team at work on a first-person shooter. “ Does this mean they’re hiring for a Call of Duty game in development or a new IP? No one knows for sure until Activision, or the developer reveals the information themselves.

It’s been heavily rumored that Raven, along with Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer, are co-developing an unannounced Call of Duty game.

Raven’s last released game was Singularity. Not a bad game by any means, but it didn’t exactly set the FPS genre on fire either. Do you think this is a good thing or might this be a case of too many cooks will spoil the Call of Duty broth?

I've played a few games made by ravensoft this gen, wolverine, MUA, wolfenstein and singularity. The SP side of the games wasn't too bad, but MP is another story, both wolfenstein & singularity were a complete lag fest and the MP map's were very badly designed, I'm fairly sure they outsourced for the MP on wolfenstein though.
