SEGA Details Dreamcast Collection
by Carlos Macias, posted on 14 January 2011 / 2,565 ViewsSonic Adventure, Crazy Taxi, Sega Bass Fishing and Space Channel 5: Part 2. Those are the games that will be forming the initial Dreamcast Collection exclusively for Xbox 360 and PC on February 22 in North America and February 25 in Europe.
No pricing was announced. You guys are probably noticing the glaring omission of Jet Grind Radio or, at the very least, Shenmue. So, really, any price would be a little too steep. And I'm sure there's countless other titles that SEGA could have better utilized to headline these set of games.
What games would you have rather made the cut? Or, are you of the mind that Sega's Dreamcast Collection will perfectly exemplify what the Dreamcast stood for?

no-one's even mentioned that SADX was available for PC some time ago...
This is a weak lineup, but I can't believe people are complaining about Space Channel 5. That game is AWESOME. I still play my Space Channel 5 Special Edition on PS2 regularly. Which is why I won't be buying this otherwise disappointing collection. But really, Part 2 only? Stupid. It's definitely time for a Chu Chu Rocket revival, too.
This is lame. How about Powerstone 1 & 2 or even Chu Chu Rocket? Instead they release 2 games that are already out?
Why am I not surprised? Sega always takes what fans want and give us the exact opposite! OMG. Sonic Adventure and Crazy Taxi are the best titles out the measly 4 total, yet they were already released on PSN and XBLA. Bass Fishing and Space Channel 2 can go... They need to include Virtua Fighter 3TB, Shen Mue, Phantasy Star Online, Skies of Arcadia...

@Juma009 PSO was one of the greatest MMO games of the final decade of the 20th century. However, the only fun of playing it offline, was to grind and do better in the online mode. Playing it solo now, when there are no servers, would be absolutely boring. However, if SEGA brought back the servers, then I would agree.
Um. Where is the first Space Channel 5? This seems to be a pretty poor collection.
Eh, all those games can be purchased very cheaply on ebay. I'd rather play games on their original console anyway.
If Sega fans voted on what games would be in this bundle... it would be a very different collection. Thank Sega for the mediocre selection. You really know what the fans want.
Bass Fishing and Space Channel 5 need to go. What about Sega GT, Outtrigger, Confidential Mission, Headhunter, Metropolis Street Racer, Virtua Fighter 3 TB or Shenmue? Bass Fishing and Space Channel 5 are cop outs.
I already own all of those except fishing. A better collection (of the top of my head) would include Jet Grind Radio, Virtua Fighter, Sega Rally, Zombie Revenge, and Sonic Adventure. Shenmue is a little big (but not that big.) so I understand.
I know Soul Calibur wasn't a sega game, but it was such a classic Dreamcast title, you'd think they could've found away. Jet Grind Radio was great as well. But with Shenmue, i can take it or leave it really.
