New Portal 2 Video Has HD Visuals, Stephen Merchant as Wheatley

Nothing like a little Portal 2 fix to brighten the day.

Valve has recently released an HD video of Portal 2, this time featuring Stephen Merchant (co-writer and co-director of The Office) as Wheatley, the amiable Personality Sphere.

The video has some nice visuals and shows off both the industrial and overrun-by-nature sections of Aperture Science. And Merchant is an excellent fit for the Personality Sphere – I'm only surprised Valve didn't go to him straight away.

Portal 2 releases February 9, 2011 for PC, Mac, PS3, and Xbox 360. You can check out the official site here.
