Activision just announced the entire Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock setlist. Hours later, this video surfaces of a GottGame TV interview with Daniel Sussman, Project Lead for Rock Band 3. Pretty standard stuff, but notice the scrolling setlist in the background (might have to watch it directly on YouTube and boost the size and resolution):
That's an awful lot of songs scrolling in the background. More importantly, that's an awful lot of heretofore unheard of songs scrolling in the background. Sharp eyes on the Rock Band forums have compiled this list of (alleged) songs that look to be in the much-anticipated sequel:
Amy Winehouse - "Rehab"
At the Drive-In - "One Armed Scissor"
Beach Boys - "Good Vibrations (Live)"
Big Country - "In a Big Country"
Blondie - "Heart of Glass"
The Bronx - "False Alarm"
Deep Purple - "Smoke on the Water"
Devo - "Whip It"
Dire Straits - "Walk of Life"
Dover - "King George"
Echo & the Bunnymen - "The Killing Moon"
Elton John - "Saturday Night's Alright (For Fighting)"
Faith No More - "Midlife Crisis"
The Flaming Lips - "Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots, Pt. 1"
Golden Earring - "Radar Love"
James Brown - "I Got You (I Feel Good)"
John Lennon - "Imagine"
Lynyrd Skynyrd - "Free Bird"
Paramore - "Misery Business"
Phish - "Llama"
The Police - "Don't Stand So Close to Me"
Primus - "Jerry Was a Race Car Driver"
Queens of the Stone Age - "No One Knows"
The Ramones - "I Wanna Be Sedated"
The Raveonettes - "Last Dance"
Riverboat Gamblers - "Don't Bury Me... I'm Still Not Dead"
The Sounds - "Living in America"
Steve Miller Band - "Fly Like an Eagle"
Tegan and Sara - "The Con"
Warren Zevon - "Werewolves of London"
The Who - "I Can See for Miles"
Is it a coincidence that the Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock setlist was announced this morning, and then this happens? That seems... unlikely. Oh, Harmonix. You crafty dudes.
Also: PRIMUS!
Rock Band 3 launches on October 26 on 360, PS3, Wii, and DS.

Smoke on the water @_@ holy gods!!
Whoa, I like 16 of those songs. That makes this... my favorite song list for any music game other than The Beatles: Rock Band. KICKASS.
Video was removed, but it provided a link to the new raywilliams video, so not all was for naught.
