Square-Enix Goes Loco, Announces Third Person Shooter

Square-Enix has pulled back the cover on a new third-person shooter it's developing exclusively for the Xbox 360 in 2011.

Called Gun Loco, it looks like it plays a little bit like The Club, with a visual style that borrows from comic books, possibly Grim Fandango and even No More Heroes.

It's definitely a new direction for them, and it seems odd enough that it could possibly work. It's taking some risks on the visuals, but if the gameplay is solid... the people will come.

urgh, the site of that random rabbit makes me thing it the looney tunes with guns. A possibly one of the worst shooter concepts ever
