I bought one just to have, as a collector of game junk. I might not even use it but its only $20.

Useless cashgrab. Should have made a decent product, PS1 was the best system ever and the PS1 classic is one of the worse of the mini/classic bunch. Shameful, truly shameful, but I should know it, it doesn't even have LoD.

Agreed. I was never interested in this even though I loved the PS1. You know you've fucked up when NES Classic is better emulator for PS1 games. If they ever re-release a mini PS2, they have to put some effort into it.

Still not worth it.

Yeah. Still $10 too expensive.

This means that Best Buy couldn't even get rid of them at $25 two weeks ago. Wow.

It finally happened I'm getting one now

Jranation (on 15 July 2019)

Might as well bundle it for free with a PS4.

NightlyPoe (on 15 July 2019)

Just $25 less and I'll get one for my own.

Ljink96 (on 15 July 2019)

Okay now I'll buy one

Cerebralbore101 (on 15 July 2019)

Are we going to start making news articles for sales now? There's always a sale at BestBuy. DQ11 was $30 a few weeks ago. There are at least two games out right now that are 40% off over there.

the ps1 classic is 19.99 at target too

Hopefully PS2 mini will do better.

SanAndreasX (on 15 July 2019)

I doubt that's going to happen now. This thing was a complete flop.

It was mostly due to the games they choose to use. If they were to get a better selection for a PS2 mini it could still work.

The library wasn't that bad, there were numerous games in this collection that were must have. However, poor emulation is a bigger problem and they used PAL ROMs that actually run slower.

It's not just Best Buy, Amazon too has it at $19.99. Though that could just be for Prime day.
