Didn't think i'd see the day when I read those magical words "Kingdom Hearts III Goes Gold".

Seeing that title gave me shivers. We have come a long way.

HylianSwordsman (on 21 November 2018)

My mind can't process that title. I still can't believe this is finally happening. This is like reading "Half Life 3 Goes Gold". After all this time thinking that this is something that would never happen, I'd begun to think it was something that couldn't happen. It's just bizarre to read and know it's true, like if the front page of the New York Times said "Santa's Workshop Discovered At North Pole", or "Hitler Discovered Alive In Nazi Base On Dark Side Of Moon".

Time to replay the entire series.

How many years and now its so close, and it looks amazing, what a journey its been

That is an early gold. Most games only go gold about 1 month before release, this is 2 months and 1 week before release. Means alot of time for polish, and a pretty big day 1 patch most likely, lol.

Imagine believing these alternative facts.

What do you mean? The average is about 4 or 5 weeks before release when a game goes gold, this is 10 weeks. Going gold means that the version of the game that will ship on disc and be downloadable is finished. Any bugs that the dev team finds and patches in the next 10 weeks will go into the day one patch. Just some examples of other recent Square published games for comparison: FFXV, gold 4 weeks before release, 7.2 GB day one patch. Shadow of the Tomb Raider, gold 7 weeks before release, 6.4 GB day one patch. Nier Automata, gold 3 weeks before release, 2.9 GB day one patch. KH3 has a longer gold to release window than all of those, don't be surprised if the day one patch exceeds FFXV's 7.2 GB. It's not really a bad thing though imo, the more polished the game is at release, the better imo.

No matter what i try to get into this series the dialogue feels so cringe and makes it feel awkward. I will try once more next year to play them all and see if its more entertaining.

Harkins1721 (on 20 November 2018)

Thats been part of the game since KH1. If you cant get into it for dialogue then u probably wont.

Same thing happens to me. I'm a fan of FF so I like the character designs but the dialogue feels like 12-year-olds roleplaying. So cheesy and cringy.

No point getting pissed. I do however think ur wrong. Dub is great for the most part but the cringe has always been there. It's part of Disney too.

It's sad it took this long. I feel like a lot of the GRRM fans that I've seen on recent book discussion comment sections. I also don't like pixar at all and this juxtapose is way worse than classic disney. i hope it ends well, but i'm going to wait for reviews. if this gets in the 80s then i know it's just fanboys ignoring flaws.

Ayla (on 20 November 2018)

Awesome. I've waited 13 years for this and don't mind waiting for a price drop. I'll pick it up for 20 bucks next year.

Guess you can't say what you think or they downvote
