Sony still a disaster, SEGA is making the whole job.

Killzone 2 is not going to sell a lot in Japan, ¿what have Sony preapreded to save them in the next months? because SFIV sales dropped fast after just a week.

andrewclear, there are no supply issues for SO4 - it's in stock on amazon.jp... 210-220k will be as far as it'll go.

Nice to see Sony doing well. I missed that.

Halo 3 (XBox 360 Platinum "Cokkection") ???

i dont think that there is a supply issue with SO4. squareenix wont have pressed less than 200000 units, that would be totally silly.we will see next week.

@BTFeather55

Shenmue 3 and 4? Don't think it's happening on any console.

I think the PS3 may outsell the Wii in March!

Wonder how Star Ocean will do next week when the supply issues have been worked out. Also, I can't believe the 360 had 4 games charted in the top 30.

And heres Amazon.jp Top 10 list

1. Resident Evil 5 (PS3)
2. some japanese detective game (DS)
3. Persona (PSP/april 29)
4. Final Fantasy VII AC BD (PS3/april 16)
5. Resident Evil 5 (360)
6. Yakuza 3 (PS3)
7. a Gundam game??? (DS)
8. Dragon Quest IX (DS)
9. Warriors Orochi Z (PS3/march 12)
10. 7th Dragon (DS)

Go Yakuza!! Go PS3!
March could be PS3 month in Japan, Resident Evil 5 seems to sell very good, a lot of bundles sold. Yakuza+RE=big push for the PS3

Here are Media-Create numbers:

1. Ryu ga Gotoku 3 (Yakuza 3) PS3 Sega 372.000 372.000
2. Shin Sangoku Musou: Multi Raid PSP Koei 219.000 219.000
3. Mario & Luigi RPG 3!!! NDS Nintendo 52.000 307.000
4. One Piece Unlimited Cruise: Episode 2 Wii Bandai Namco 45.000 45.000
5. Game Center CX: Arino no Chousenjou 2 NDS Bandai Namco 44.000 44.000

9. Taiko no Tatsujin Wii Wii Square Enix 17.000 400.000
10. Wii Fit Wii Nintendo 16.000 3.277.000

Good for yakuza 3 go SEGA go. Low numbers for Wii but Monster Hunter G is going to come out next Week so let's see how that will go.

Very good. PS3 finished second only to DS much better than 360 was able to do last week. Don't forget Sony and Sega, we are hoping that Yakuza 3, Kenshan!, and Yu Suzuki's Shenmue 3 and 4 to come to the US exclusively on PS3.

wow seems that portables are more popular than consoles in japan...

Nice boost for PS3

I knew something had to be odd for the Wii to hit 12k. It should sustain its current trend for a while

Only one week to go for Warriors Orochi Z (PS3) release I wonder how much it will sell and if it will boost PS3 sales (or atleast let them be steady).

Wii boost?

If that boost was achieved by One Piece (popular, but not exactly huge) then FFS someone release some more Wii games.

Great first week sales for Yakuza 3, and nice PS3 boost as well.

PSP and DS steady as ever, 360 higher than usual, Wii slowly sinking...

go yakuza¡¡¡ but according to media create yakuza 3 sold 372k. there a little difference.

Yakuza 3 ftw !

^

How do the bitter tears smell the rest of the week? =P

At least a justified chart for once.

With RE 5, FF 7 AC Complete PS3 should keep selling over 25K

Hmm i knew the Wii wouldn't be that low. Lol at the guy with the Wii to go below 10k thread..

Very good for Yakuza 3. Keep it up SEGA.

PS3 got superb boost from Yakuza3 ,very good. :)

I think it still got boost like this for 2-3 more weeks before everything back to normal.

Ah so Wii got to 22K not 12K... I was a little worried there for a while!

Well done to Yakuza 3 developer. I wouldn't mind checking that game out for myself.
