Yakuza 6: The Song of Life (PS4) debuted at the top of the Japanese charts, selling 218,168 units, according to Media Create.

The Last Guardian (PS4) debuted in fourth with sales of 82,260 units. Miitopia (3DS) debuted in sixth with sales of 27,090. Puyo Puyo Chronicle (3DS) debuted in eighth with sales of 13,873 units.

The Nintendo 3DS was the best-selling platform with sales of 108975 units. The PlayStation 4 sold 89,717 units, the PlayStation Vita sold 22,314 units and the Wii U sold 4,656  units. The Xbox One sold 1,245 units and the PlayStation 3 sold 853 units.

Nice to see it debut in #1 at least. Hopefully it's popularity in the west will increase with all the releases it's been, and will be getting here.

The game looks good, but i think the series is fatigued. Those sales can't be too good. The staggered western release won't make this a huge seller, but would be nice if it could at least get well above 500k.

Good to see its doing okay, but I'm hoping Yakuza comes to an end at some point. Time do something new.
