Today we take a look at the top 10 best-selling games for yet another platform. Last week we looked at the top 10 best-selling PlayStation 4 games in 2015. This week it's the turn of Microsoft's third home console, the Xbox One.

The Xbox One in 2015 sold 8.45 million units, a seven percent increase year-over-year, to bring its lifetime sales to 19.43 million units. 64.05 million games were sold at retail on the Xbox One in 2015 and has now sold 112.09 million games lifetime.

The Xbox One proved most successful in the US, but also sold modestly well in Europe. It sold 4.92 million units in Europe, 2.09 million units in Europe, and just 18,907 units in Japan.

19 games for the console in 2015 managed to sell over one million units and six games sold more than two million units. Below we've compiled a list of the 10 best-selling Xbox One games:

Halo still 2nd place. Even with the big drop, it isn't any worse than at the end of last gen (COD was at top for the 2nd half).

Even if PS4 is selling way more games those are pretty good numbers nonetheless.

There's a huge difference between the amount of software moved by each console, and it will become bigger. I have no idea what Microsoft can do to slow down the growth of the gap.
