Nintendo appointed Tatsumi Kimishima earlier today as its new president. According to an interview with Nikkei, as translated and summarized by Dr. Serkan Toto on Twitter, Kimishima predicted that the Wii U would be a failure.
1) In yet another Nikkei article (last I summarize/translate), new Nintendo boss Kimishima’s personality is described as “soft+friendly”.

2) According to the Nikkei, Kimishima predicted Wii U’s failure when it was introduced by warning it’s too similar to the original Wii.

Looking to this guy makes me realize how much charisma Iwata had, despite all his mistakes.
I also think a younger CEO would help, but won´t judge him on that. Lets see.
I really would like to see the original interview rather than a couple of twitter posts..... anyway, Nintendo should try to get the best possible out of the WiiU until the end of 2016, as the company is not losing money with it anymore.
I tried looking up this guy online and other than the positions he's held they don't say much about what he's really worked on, like specific games, etc. :P But that being said, obviously he is qualified lol

Yeah, I think a lot of us did. Hence the reason barely anybody has bought one in nearly3 years.
Being someone who says "I knew the Wii U would fail" doesn't make you qualified to be President of Nintendo.
