Sega Working on a One Handed Mobile Sonic Game - News

Sonic Team is currently developing a new Sonic the Hedgehog game called Sonic Runners, according to Polygon. The game is free-to-play and will be released for the Android and iOS this spring in Japan.
The game will be able to be played with one hand and is considered a running genre game. Sonic is running non-stop and the players have to tap the screen to make him jump. The game will have many features of a traditional Sonic title.

Play with one hand they say? Good, now I can literally play a game with my eyes close while I cook up a burrito, I applaud Sega for the innovation they had brought us!
The fact that it'll have "traditional sonic" features makes it a little different than "temple run". Not that I care much for these games but the previous app, Sonic Dash or something, has millions of downloads on the play store. Somebody must be playin' em.

Didn't they already do one of these? Also, yippee, that's exactly what Sonic fans wanted! It's official, someone needs to buy this IP from Sega. Or buy Sega. Or something. Nintendo has the platformer knowhow so I would put mone on them.
I don't care. The Sonic mobile games have always been crap.
