343 Working on 'Biggest' Halo: Master Chief Collection Matchmaking Update - News

343 Industries is currently working on the "biggest" Halo: Master Chief Collection matchmaking update to date. The update will help improve the search times and the success rate of matchmaking searches themselves. Also being updated in the lobby and party functionality.
"Fundamental changes to these systems will improve the overall experience while also allowing us to address additional issues such as title-specific hit registration, matchmaking ranking, and beyond," read the post on Halo Waypoint. "As this update contains the biggest changes to the Matchmaking system yet, we’ve identified that additional time and testing is required, and we are currently evaluating both timing and need for a CU beta with the Xbox One Preview program, as well as the final public release date in February."

Its a great game, and I've never really encountered and problems with matchmaking (though I bought the game in late December, since it and FH2 where only 72 Canadian dollars). However I was going to buy it at launch, but with all the problems, I held out and got a good deal on it!
Matchmaking aside the campaign is still broken. I get graphical glitches in Halo 2, 3 and 4, Halo 2 in the upgraded graphics mode is the worst effected. It flickers as flashes all the time!
