Congrats to the creators. They should have released the PC version earlier, but what can you do. I'm sure they'll be swimming in money for a long time.

Such a beautiful game, the X360 version of it uses every trick in the book from the console hard to imagine a game so massive and lovely looking is on a machine dated 2005. Great work from Rockstar making that the success that it is. Lovely to see the generations not end with Cawadooty as the highest games sold on the ps/360

You have a typo in your Xbox 360 sales, it's actually 14.79m not 17.79m.

19.24 + 17.79 + 4.73 + 1.81 = 43.57 -> 43.57 > 40.56 -> tsk tsk...

He makes a lot of mistakes usually to do with maths ,he should double check his figures more often , but the most annoying thing is his reluctance to own up to and fix those mistakes

I'm sure they made more than $2.5 billion on GTAV. As platformmaster says the game cost what amounts to $80+ at launch in a lot of countries around the world.

Here in Scandinavia the PS3/360 version still costs $50 and the PS4/XB1 version $70.

@Dechizen.. You're right. All the pirates out there keep saying that they are the ones who keep games alive with mods and other BS.

But the ones that give revenue to game developers are console gamers. Rockstar should keep this game away from PC mongrels.
