Good on these consoles for beasting, but the Wii definitely had something to do with why the last gen of Xbox/Playstation sales were so low compared to these. Would be nice to see the Wii/WiiU included to get a better picture. I'm still not sure if the market has grown or if the change in sales is due to how bad Nintendo is doing (and conversely how PS4/Xb1 has picked up the slack).

VG chartz number > Ps4 is 2ยบ astest console in sales in history.
Sony Pr > Playstation is the fastest console of all times.
Me> anyway amazing numbers! Ps4 going to make 100 millions easy!
I hate when console sales get combined (I know it's about x vs. y) it doesn't show the whole truth of which one is doing better in the respective generation.
ps3 was trash it struggled till the latter half of the generation were it really picked up
Remember, the PS3+360 were doing terrible at their launches. Developers were actually threatening Sony by saying that if you don't start selling better, then we're cancelling your exclusives. 360 had the RROD which killed any momentum it had. It wasn't until a few years in that the those two actually started picking up their sales.
RROD sold more consoles though
So PS4 > PS3 + 360 + 3 million!
Absolutely amazing. o_o
