Gears of War on Xbox One Making 'Massive Progress' - News

Black Tusk Studio has been hard at work on the next Gears of War title for the Xbox One since Microsoft purchased the IP from Epic Games. Xbox boss Phil Spencer has tweeted that the developer has made "massive progress" on the game.

"Great day yesterday with and , always inspiring. Team is making massive progress," tweeted Spencer.

Can't wait. I hope they bring the 360 games to X1 as well. I need an excuse to play those games again.

Hmmmm maybe it'll be an early 2016 release? Would be a nice change up from everything being in the fall.

Sounds great, I think it was better someone took over the project. Epic seemed to be lagging in the game. Seems they didn't really want the IP anymore.
