Grand Theft Auto V Next Gen Sells 1M Units First Week in the US - PS4, Xbox One - News
by William D'Angelo , posted on 26 November 2014 / 8,307 ViewsGrand Theft Auto V has landed on the next generation consoles more than a year after the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions launched. The game managed to sell 1,008,194 units in its first week on sale in the US.
The PlayStation 4 version of the game debuted at number two in the US charts with sales of 583,908 units. The Xbox One version sold 424,286 units in its first week. The game has now sold 14.5 million units combined in the US.
Grand Theft Auto V launched in North America and Europe on November 18, 2014 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The PC version will launch in January, 2015.

@ ComicSex I'd also be remiss if I didn't point out that GTA V released on Tuesday and the Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire SKUs released on Friday, which means that GTA V is being tracked for twice as many days as the Pokemon games.

If you break it up by SKU, GTA V on PS4 was number 1. I don't understand why Pokemon SKUs are always added together.
Because they are generally the same game. The only reason they release two separate versions is to promote trade between the two... If they were releasing on separate consoles then I would agree but as it stands its more like they're two halves of the same game.
