I don't really consider this impressive considering Xbox One had to cut the price twice within its first year. 360 didn't have to go through such lengths to get sales.

I don't want make console war, but... according to VGChartz XOne this month have sold more than 500K worldwide, when NPD said 168K in the USA (220K 360).
Also, VGChartz said that this month XO in Europe have sold more than in USA... honestly, this number are at 99,9999% overtracked.

Very impressive.

Especially when you consider 360 launched in 36 Countries and X1 in just 13.

Even more impressive if you believe 360 had a 50% failure rate

Congrats MS

Maybe they should, but are they making a profit with the price so low? Yeah, it's great for consumers, but MS has to make money too you know. PS3 showed us last gen that even good sales numbers don't cut it if a lot of money is being lost per unit. I think MS should raise the price again until they get closer to their bigger launches later next year.
