Frozenbyte's Trine franchise has sold more than seven million units to date worldwide. The sales are across two games that are available on many different platforms.

"Opening up the games to user-generated content is something we've wanted to do for a long time, and we're thrilled to see what people can come up with using the editors," Frozenbyte CEO Lauri Hyvärinen said.

To celebrate this milestone Frozenbyte will be allowing players to try Trine Enchanted Edition and Trine 2: Complete Story for free this weekend on Steam.

Doesn't deserve it. The graphics are good, but the games are painfully boring. They're like crappy versions of The Lost Vikings.
