iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Sell 10 Million in 3 Days - News

Apple has announced its sales figures for its new iPhones. The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus have sold more than 10 million units in just three days. This is a new record topping the nine million figure set by the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C launch.
"Sales for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus exceeded our expectations for the launch weekend, and we couldn’t be happier," said Apple CEO Tim Cook. "We would like to thank all of our customers for making this our best launch ever, shattering all previous sell-through records by a large margin."
"While our team managed the manufacturing ramp better than ever before, we could have sold many more iPhones with greater supply and we are working hard to fill orders as quickly as possible."
The phones launched on Friday in the US, Canada, UK, France, Germany, and some market in Asia. It will be released in 115 more countries by the end of the year.

I think this goes without saying... but iPhones are far behind the Samsung smartphones right now. Steve Jobs' death affected apple more than some believe.

Would have sold more if they had been able to send ANY 6 pluses to their retailers. I haven't heard of anyone finding any of those in a store.

They sold so many which they don't have! My wife's iPhone 6 order got delayed 3 weeks.
