However, it is bundled with every Kinect. The top two titles have sold more than 10 million units and the entire top 10 has sold more than five million units.

Looking at sales by platform two titles are for the original Xbox, while eight are for the Xbox 360. Top 10 Selling Microsoft Games

The top 10 selling Microsoft games as a graph really shows how bundling games really boosts sales of games. Also the Halo and Gears of War franchise are the two most important for Microsoft. The Gears of War franchise was developed by Epic Games and published by Microsoft.

The top 10 selling Microsoft games was done last year as well which included sales through the end of April 2012. The top 10 has sold an additional 9.12 million units. The main difference is that Halo 4 (X360) is now in the top 10, since it wasn’t released a year ago. It knocked off Forza Motorsport 3 (X360) out of the top 10. Other than that the order of the games has remained the same.

Here are the sales outside the top 10: The top 13 titles sold five million or more units and the top 29 titles sold more than two million units. The top 49 titles sold more than one million units and the top 77 titles sold more than 500,000 units. In total Microsoft has sold 219.84 million games.

Microsoft has sold 78.62 million Xbox 360’s and 24.64 million Xbox’s.
