There are two games in the top 30 to be in its final week before launch, Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and Kid Icarus: Uprising (3DS).
The top four games have 200,000 or more pre-orders, the same as last week, and the top nine has 100,000 or more pre-orders, down from 10 last week. Zero games add 20,000 or more, down from one last week and two add 10,000 or more, down from three last week.
Games in Final Week Before Launch

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City (X360) added 6,000 pre-orders in its final week, for a grand total of 212,000. This suggests that first week sales will be in the 250,000 to 300,000 unit range. This is about half of Resident Evil 5, which is the only other game in the franchise to be released on the Xbox 360. Expect the game to sell between 600,000 and 700,000 units in the USA by the time it is done selling.

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City (X360) added 12,000 pre-orders in its final week, for a grand total of 183,000. This suggests that first week sales will be in the 225,000 to 250,000 unit range. This is about two-thirds of what Resident Evil 5 sold, which is the only other game in the franchise to be released on the PlayStation 3. Expect the game to sell between 500,000 and 600,000 units in the USA by the time it is done selling.

Kid Icarus: Uprising (3DS) added 6,000 pre-orders in its final week, for a grand total of 58,000. This suggests that first week sales will be in the 75,000 to 100,000 unit range. There are no other Kid Icarus games that VGChartz has tracked. Expect the game to sell between 250,000 and 300,000 units in the USA by the time it is done selling.
Major Performers – Week Ending March 24
Tales of Graces f (PS3) sales are expected to drop by two-thirds in its second week on sale to around 45,000 in the USA.
Mario Party 9 (Wii) sales are expected to drop to around 40,000 in its second week.
Silent Hill Downpour sales are expected to drop to around a combined 45,000 in its second week. With the Xbox 360 version selling around 25,000 and the PlayStation 3 version selling around 20,000.
Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja STORM Generations sales are expected to drop to around a combined 35,000 in its second week. The PlayStation 3 version is expected to drop to around 20,000 and the Xbox 360 version to around 15,000.
The one other debut from the previous week, Yakuza: Dead Souls (PS3) is expected to drop to around 7,000 in its second week.
Mass Effect 3 sales are expected to drop to around a combined 125,000 in its third week on sale. The Xbox 360 version is expected to sell around 100,000, while the PlayStation 3 version is expected to sell around 25,000.
Hardware sales will decline slightly for the week ending March 24, with an average drop of around 10 percent. Expect sales to stabilize in a couple weeks and to remain relatively flat most weeks through the month of May.
Other Hot Games

Xenoblade Chronicles (Wii) is at number seven, as it adds 10,000 pre-orders, down from 18,000 last week, for a total of 158,000. The game is three weeks away from launch, April 2, 2012 in the USA.
Notable mentions: Diablo III (PC) added 8,000 pre-orders for a total of 449,000. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier (X360) added 6,000 pre-orders for a total of 233,000. Max Payne 3 (X360) added 3,000 pre-orders for a total of 95,000.
