If it concisely introduces this game, it is a volume improvement version of "Monster Hunter Freedom(MHf) 2".However, even if it is a sequel, it is not necessary to play from the former work. It is possible to become familiar with the outlook on the world without the sense of incompatibility even if it starts suddenly from the latest work because this series including another model version doesn't have a consistent story as the tradition.
