You'll get a chance to play this mini-game at the beginning of disc 3, when you're in Alexandria controlling Vivi. Note that this mini-game will end if you accept to see Ruby's play on disc 3, so make sure to play it before doing that. Hippaul and his mother will be on the main street in Alexandria. Speak to Hippaul's mother and agree to help out Hippaul with his problem. You will need to alternate in pressing the Square and Circle buttons to make Vivi run. You win by naturally crossing the finish line first (make sure not to completely blow out Hippaul), which will help make Hippaul's level increase. For every 10 levels that Hippaul's level increases, his mother will give you a prize (he gets faster and faster).
