That's 13 million on the last confirmed total and puts the series in the top 40 best-selling franchises of all time.

The most recent overall figure 2K have given puts it at just under 40 million, and at the same time they said VI was just over 1.5 million.

However, they more recently updated VI's sales figures, announcing it has now gone past 5.5 million.

Adding that 4 million increase to the older overall total puts the series on *at least* 44 million, which until/unless 2K announces a new milestone is the best we have to go on atm.
