Mario 64 and Ocarina of Time were better than the Wii Versions in my opinion. Mario Kart Wii was the best in the series, thats right. Mario Bros. 3 was great for NES relations and i wouldnt say that Mario Bros. Wii is better. Smash Bros. Brawl was better than Melee and the N64 Version, because off its Value and the Online Mode. What flaws? More like lack of, rather than "flaws". Still, this game has the best (and longest) main quest for a Zelda game. Despite the lack of as many sidequests as some other Zelda's, great game. =) Message | Report |

I don't know if future Zeldas will have voice acting, but if you look at the size of this game you'll realize a gamecube disc couldn't hold much more data, and I don't think they wanted to go to two discs. oh and for people bitching about the price, I remember going into a Best Buy in 98 or 99 and they still had a link to the past for $15 or $20... it came out in 92, Nintendo just knows that people will pay a high price for zelda. Okami ... it's like a love/hate thing. I seriously want to PLAY the game but its just walls and walls of text. The story is semi interesting but you if it wanted to have as many conversations as it does have ... they should have done voice overs and have cooler cutscenes like MGS. Okami is a great game and is in parallel quality with Twilight Princess. I agree that sometimes Okami gets tiring(long dialog session with Issun, not the gameplay) but the full experience is well worth it. I reckomend it to all Zelda Fans to give it a try at least. Message | Report |

Nearing 7million sells makes it one of the best selling Zelda titles. Maybe some people want a drastic change of the franchise but I like it how it is. Shame I thought it would do better. What they need to do to make the next one a hit is 1: Cell shaded visuals. The Wii cant do High def realistic visuals so why try when cell shaded relies on art style 2: Link talk. I want to know who the hero of Hyrule is. 3: Voice acting. With such good story lines imagine how much father they could take it and how connected people could fell with the characters. 4: Some sort of multi player. I currently class this as the 3rd best selling Zelda. The originals total sales are 6.75 if you combine the GBA and NES versions, and 6.55 million for Twilight Princess combined. Of course, Twilight Princess will sell around another 0.5 million by the time this generation ends meaning total sales for the game should be about 7 million which is superb sales. Message | Report |

Depending on how you crunch the numbers, this is either the third-best or fourth-best selling Zelda game ever. Appropriately so, too, because it's quite fun. So this has been overtracked... Has shipped 4.52M through the end of March. Shipped 1.25M over the entire year (April 07 to March 08), and I expect it will nearly match that over the next 12 months. PH, meanwhile, has shipped 4.13M. Its catching up! Message | Report |

Dark Night DS, why should Nintendo be very happy with these sales? They sold 7.6 million on the N64 with Ocarina of Time...though of course Ocarina of Time was a far better game. Twilight Princess is great though, if you have a Wii or Gamecube definitely worth a purchase. Doesn't hold a candle to Ocarina, but what does? Interesting to think that Call of Duty 4 is now much, much more popular than TP...and possibly the Zelda series as a whole. Message | Report |

well about the japanese TP sales anomaly I can't explain it just look to Phantom Hourglass it will for sure be the the best seller zelda on partable console and the japanese sales are great!! it's difficult to explain the less japanese numbers for TP!! I'm huge fan of the Zelda Franchise and I can tell you Twilight Princess deserves more from japanese well the Wii version may reach the First Zelda (The Nes one) !! and combined with the GC one well it can reach the 7 million by the end of 2008 !!! but it's hard to imagine TP catchin' Ocarina of Time ya so hard!! but who knows only time will show!!! This game is undertracked. Nintendo official sales put this game at 8.85m combined between wii and gc. We also have official sales that put the gc version at 1.32m sold. So that means the wii version has sold 7.53m units just 0.07m behind OOT N64. Message | Report |
