Nice to see this pass the very average in my opinion star fox 64 game. Very impressed with the small drop off this week compared to last week, as it almost seems to be levelling off at 10k per region now which would be magnificent if it could maintain those numbers through may and june. If it carries on like this then it will be overtaking pilotwings by the end of june. Message | Report |

Oh, new numbers for US (April 28th) have a sharp drop, not even mentioned with concrete sales-numbers.  But Media Create had it stabilized at 10K. In any case, this week it should make it past 600K and Star Fox (619K). Message | Report |

Its doing better than i thought it would at this stage, selling much better than revelations was after the five week mark, which is great for what is essentially a new game for nintendo. I reckon by the end of may it will be around the 700k mark. I think give it another one or two weeks and it will level out at around the 20k mark. Message | Report |

@acdcste: That seems to much. Give it one or two weeks more, then it will reach 600K. @Salnax: I have put in my sig the prediction, it will reach the million before holidays (october). To reach that the sales have to level out not much under 20K. Every week it stays above that mark, the more it can drop below afterwards. There are 24 weeks to go until the start of october, and four more in the month. 24*20K are 480K. That's obviously more than enough for the million. If it doesn't have this, the holidays will for sure bring it above 1M. So it's pretty secure, that KI will be a million-seller this year. Message | Report |

@Salnax I hope you're right, because the game is awesome, but I feel the odds of Kid Icarus being a long seller will be hurt by the rest of the 3DS games coming out this year. With NSMB2, KH3D, and more, there are a lot of heavy hitters that Kid Icarus will be competing with. Message | Report |

In a week or two, it'll be overshadowed by the big 3 3DS titles there, just like every other 3DS game in Japan this year. And in America? Don't make me laugh! Eventually, this will sell as much as Pilotwings Resort, but that's not saying much for the creator of Smash Bros's latest project. As for European sales, they are despicable. The fact that this title hasn't sold a million already must be disappointing Nintendo, especially after a big deal they made about this the past two E3s." Wow, 88K in it's third week. Only 3K missing to half the million. In it's fourth week it will overtake for sure RE:Revelations, which is already selling two and a half month. Anyone now thinking this game is a failure? Message | Report |

This sold 140K copies according to NPD in the 8 days it was released in March. The tally also had not been adjusted so the game in less than 2 weeks after release had already sold 500K!!! Much more than PSV best selling (and only worthwhile game IMHO) Uncharted: GA which has been out much longer!!! Message | Report |

Of course it will be a million seller sunofkratos! My only complaint about this game would be that I write left handed so I can't really use the stylus even to aim. I don't have the circle pad pro either so I can't try all the different control options. Right now I just use the abxy buttons to aim with. It isn't as precise but it prevents any hand cramping and fumbling of the stylus. Message | Report |

Id say this is certainly more of a Japanese market game, and that's why its sales there matter more for Nintendo. But we'll see, and i wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo try bundling this at some point. Message | Report |

You know, I was expecting this game to be good. But I didn't know it was going to be this amazing. By far my favorite game on the 3DS. Had it since the 23rd and I still haven't beaten it. lol I've been focusing on the 240 challenges. Almost beaten the story, which is so amazing, hilarious and cheesy. wtf @ Chapter 18! I wasn't really interested in the beginning, but the videos caught my interest, so I thought I might risk it. Good choice. This game is condensed awesomeness. Agreed Noir. The game is a masterpiece and deserves to be unchained from the underpowered 3DS. The sales on 3DS are a travesty. Some would argue that the touch controls were integral to the experience, but I'm sure it would work just fine with a twin stick setup. The character portraits during dialogue could be relegated to the bottom or top corners of the screen. An HD upgrade wouldn't be enough though. The game needs an upgrade to the core assets. Even in HD with the Citra, the low polygon models mar the experience. Message | Report |

Really wish Nintendo would do a remake of this game on the Switch with traditional controls and updated visuals. A game of this value deserves more love and I can't think of any reasons other then the controls and maybe the difficulty as to why it isn't more popular. Message | Report |
