I admit that Fable III was not as good as Fable II was. But it wasnt as bad as people like Angry Joe made it out to be. It did offer a improved humor and a better story. The overpowered guns was the biggest problem here, my suggestion for Fable IV is that they keep guns, but have them do not as much damage as melee weapons. Also, having the option to put a bullet in Reaver's head would be nice. Message | Report |

Yeah, popularity does not mean that something is good. Go look at Twilight or Michael Bay movies or Honey Boo Boo or something. If Fable III is great, then I'm Santa Claus. The game was absolutely mediocre in every aspect... especially when you hold it up to what the original did. It is unfathomable to me that PM had so many ideas that served to make the game worse, slower, and even further devoid of interesting choice, and that the lack of playtesting was so apparent. This series is one of the biggest gaming disappointments I've ever experienced, right up there with Dragon Age II. Message | Report |

JustThatGamer: Sony bundles almost every exclusive worth mentioning and even bigger third party titles. They are quite limited. I rarely see them in my country and the bundled game still cost the same. About Fable: I never had a chance to try out the series because I never owned a 360. It looks fun but way too cartoony. blue7x7 - You're trying too hard. I'm a Fable fan, loved the first 2 but 3 is just the epitome of mediocre in every area other than voice acting, mind you it wasn't close to as terrible as many people claimed it is. It's not the minority that feel this way, a lot of people didn't like Fable III, even the vast majority of fans on the official Fable Facebook fan-page demonstrated dislike for the third entry in the series. Fable is a great series, I just hope they go back to what made the first feel so special and reinvent it's brilliance whilst using years of experience to make Fable IV even better, I have high hopes. This will probably pass 5 million lifetime but it's going nowhere near 6 million. This game was at about 3.5m before it was bundled which boasted it up by a massive 1.2m, this game had poor legs and was struggling to sell even 5k a week before the bundles. It was originally looking at 4-4.15m lifetime, now if you add the 1.2m from the bundles that's roughly what the game will do lifetime, 5.2-5.35m. I still think it's strange how Fable and Forza get all the negative comments when the discussion revolves around sales when Sony's exclusives like Resistance, LittleBigPlanet and Uncharted (especially 2 and to a further extent 3) were all bundled just as heavily. Wow amazing sales I guess the haters on the internet who say the fable series sucks and Peter M overhypes all the fable games are really the minority who should be ignored. Will easily do 5 million probably can do 6 million lifetime. It's a great game to be honest people just misunderstand what type of game it is. If you are expecting a game like skyrim then look elsewhere. This game sold over 3 million before it was bundled so people saying it got all it's sales from bundleling keep trying. Message | Report |

@Matrix01. No I'm not wrong. Having a look at the Uk stores all bundles here are more expensive than just the vanilla console. Having a look at the US it seems the same. The Uncharted 3 bundle is more expensive than a vanilla PS3. You simply get a discount on the games. Message | Report |

@Zim, they don't count because bundled games are essentially given away for free. And you're wrong, people do buy bundles with games they don't like, for normal people it's all about getting the best deal for your money, for example when I was shopping for a PS3 I came across 2 deals that were the same price and 1 came with a game, so I got the one that came with Socom 4, a game I hated. Tontus no Fable 2 was bundled that's why it sold so much. Fable 3 sold over 3 million on it's own until the bundle was introduced. @acdcste. Of course it's being bundled, this game has sold almost a million copies in just a few weeks! This games legs were absolutely terrible not long ago at about 3-5k a week, now it's doing 140-240k a week... I loved Fable I & II, but III has mediocre written all over it. This may have 'sold' more than Fable II, but it's not going to be as profitable considering Fable II reached 4m without having to be given away for free a year after launch. Hopefully Fable IV makes up for Fable III and is an awesome experience, although I doubt it. Message | Report |

That's my point Mitlar37 most games are bundled especially PS3 exclusives yet no one says anything about that they just praise it's sales with no mention about how games like uncharted 2 would most likely have not sold anywhere near that 5 million it has sold if it wasn't for bundleling same wiht LBP2 their is a thread right now about how it sold 400,000 yet it was mostly all bundles. So why can't Fable 3 be praised for the same. It has great sales people need to deal with it. Message | Report |

According to NPD, it only sold 580k in the USA in October (First week sales here). I read somewhere on VGC that USA accounts to 5/6 of the Americas sales usually. If Fable III sold anything like "usual", It'd have sold around 700k first week. So 816k might be believable, assuming Fable sold better outside of the USA. Don't worry toastboy  Message | Report |
