Ice T Arrested Then Does Voice Over for Gears of War 3 - News

This kind of story is too good to make up.

Ice T can even make video game voice overs badass. How? By getting arrested right before them.

It sounds like it was a pretty bs charge that he got arrested for, at least according to his tweets, which are also unsurprisingly pretty badass. Check it out:

"Some punk b*tch rookie cop named Fisher #10026 Made the arrest of his b*llshit career today. Arresting the Notorious Ice T for no seatbelt. Out in 20 min. Come on son... In other news! Bout to go do some more voice overs for my character Griffen in Gear Of War 3 today."

And I didn't even know he was supposed to be in Gears 3! Sounds like some high profile talent is making its way around Epic Games these days.

Either way, a note to Nolan North: Before you strap on your self-aggrandizing sunglasses of smug to drive out to Naughty Dog and record some Nathan Drake takes, think about the long, hard road that some other voice actors have to suffer to do what you do. How does that feel? Hmm?

This was the most "gangsta" thing that's happened to him in the past 20 years lol!

Unless you count being a regular on Law & Order.

I am pretty sure you can't be taken to jail for just a seat belt ticket in all states that have seat belt laws. You would have to do something else. It is a traffic ticket that cops do not have ability to take someone to jail. So he got taken to jail and was out in 20 mins. Sounds pretty bullshit to me unless they gave him "superstar" treatment which even then it takes cops least hour or so probably to even get everything ready to release. This story sounds like pure bullshit.

Sounds like a completely legitimate charge; he broke the law and was arrested for it. Does he expect to get a free pass cos he's famous or something?

Drake is also in the game isn't he? Hopefully they don't play more stereotypically streetwise Black characters. I mean come on Gears is set in the future and outer space, why do they use current day slang

I don't get it why is that a bullshit charge? If it's the law to wear your seat-belt and you're not...

If it were some kind of suspicion of misconduct or something generic like that then it could be argued as a bullshit charge.

And you didn't know Ice T was in Gears 3? That was announced months ago.
