Nintendo is selling a new Nintendo Switch 2 bundle in the UK that is now available on the UK Nintendo Store website.

The bundle is priced at £459.99. If you were to purchase all the items separately it would cost £593.95, which means a total saving of £133.96.

The Nintendo Switch 2 bundle includes the following:

  • Nintendo Switch 2 console
  • Mario Kart World (download code)
  • Nintendo Switch 2 Camera
  • SanDisk MicroSD Express Card 256GB for Nintendo Switch 2
  • Nintendo Switch Online Individual 3-month (code)

The price of the Nintendo Switch 2 console increased on September 1 from £395.99 to £419.99. This means the bundle only costs an extra £40 over the console by itself.

The camera probably didn't sell as well as expected, so they want to get rid of the old stock. :-)

The SD card is GBP 49,99 on Nintendo store.
MK World and NSO doesn't cost Nintendo any money.
The Camera is probably dirt cheap to make.

So Nintendo does a smart move with projecting a big saving, but actually doesn't cost Nintendo much.

Hmm. On the one hand, this seems to me Nintendo may be trying to move systems before an inevitable 2026 price hike… but shouldn’t the Lite model be coming next year? In which case the price hike is somewhat cancelled out.

Let's wait and see.

Although the RRP went up the console did not actually go up in price until the last few days. Amazon still sell it at £389.99 today. In fact one of the big retailers, John Lewis, had it for under £350 a few weeks ago.

I imagine it will be easily available significantly below RRP during Black Friday week.
