Elden Ring Ships 25 Million Units - Sales

Publisher Bandai Namco and developer FromSoftware announced the action RPG, Elden Ring, has shipped  over 25 million units worldwide as of June 12, 2024. The figure includes digital sales.

This figure is up from 20.5 million units as of May 11, 2023, 20 million units as of February 22, 202317.5 million units as of November 14, 2022, 16.6 million units as of June 30, 2022, and 12 million units sold worldwide and one million units sold in Japan as of March 14, 2022.

Elden Ring released for the Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on February 25, 2022.

Good to hear. That's +4.5 million in the last 14 and a half months (worst case scenario, assuming the date of shipment is the date of the tweet). The DLC should give it a boost soon too.

This game should be able to reach 35 million once the DLC releases. Well deserved though. One of the few devs who didn't fire their employees for more profit.

Well deserved, excellent game.

What's even insane to think is that despite ER being such a big game, hogwarts legacy did 24mil in 11 months!

It's slightly worse than I was expecting (I was thinking it has passed 28 million already) but the DLC will give it a new life, many people is likely buying it again to have a physical copy with the DLC. 30 million lifetime is the absolute minimum I see this game selling, with 35 million not being out of table and even 40 million is possible if it gets a remastered version for next gen console
